Early Bird book before 30 June-Osseofascial Techniques for resolving Vascular Insufficiencies and Myofascial Pain - 2023
This practical hands-on workshop will be supported by a visually rich keynote presentation providing unique human cadaver images of the superficial and deep fascia. Plastinated specimens and other anatomical fascia models will be displayed for course participants to enhance the learning experience. Taking a global account of each individual patient’s fascia imprint allows for a personalised programme of soft tissue intervention that will integrate neural, hydraulic, fibrillar, integumentary, superficial and deep fascia organisation in a temporal approach based on physiological hierarchy. A specific set of assessments, information gathering and special tests based on advanced anatomy and physiology will complement a combined global and local treatment approach and set the stage for manual therapy interventions that will increase the possibility for a return to self-healing, allostasis and pain-free motion.
The course will focus on advanced inspection, palpation, and provocative neurological and vascular tests to assess venus or vascular insufficiencies. This is a two day workshop for experienced therapists participants who pay in full at time of booking. Refunds are provided on the full amount paid minus an administration fee so please ensure you are available to attend before securing your place. Flights should not be booked until the course is confirmed by email.
John Sharkey will deliver this course in-person. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to give and receive neuromuscular techniques and massage.
